How Do You Feel About STEEM?
Yesterday before I went to bed and checked the market my reaction was: "Woooow."
This morning nothing changed. I knew that some people surely wrote about the current market situation. From anger to joy was everything was there.
How do you feel about the current market situation? How do you feel about STEEM? What does it make with you?
I mean when the last time where we were around $1.15 was?
Tendency continues to fall further. What are your heart and mind telling you?
Frustration? Disappointment?

I can honestly say I am happy with the price of Steem because I feel likes it gives me a chance to buy more Steem. I believe in Steemit's potential, so I am mentally prepared to stay the course and accumulate Steem. I think the Steemit platform is poised for potential greatness and for those who maintain significant holdings great wealth may one day come. This investment is not without risks, but neither is life. I review the reasons I am invested in Steemit frequently and as long as those factors haven't changed significantly for the worse I buy more if possible. I review those factors because I want to be both a man of reason and faith.
On a side note, it's great to see you living your dream as a football player, may your good health and good fortune continue.

Steem is around 62 cents and I just bought more Steem!
I reread this post to reaffirm my belief that Steem is an amazing cryptocurrency. I have invested in about 25 crypto currencies, including some really good Staking coins and some high ROI Masternode coins and it has been a good learning experience about the shirt lifespan of many coin projects in the cryptosphere. Coins come and go, some have lifespans measured in days!
Steem has so many advantages over so many other coins, that it is truly amazing that more people don’t use it.
I am a man of faith and reason. The reasons to buy Steem haven’t changed. The price just makes it easier to buy more. I am keeping my faith in Steem.

I don't care so much about the price, 1 steem is 1 steem to me. What frustrates me more is the development team who dont' seem to be able to get things done. We really need the SBD to be pegged to a dollar and a big enough supply so it can get actual real life use in the first place. Curation needs to be fixed so there is more of an incentive to actually upvote good content or people. There needs to be more accounts like @busy.org, @busy.pay, @hr1, ... that spread free upvotes to good people on steemit and the communities updates also can make a difference. All I hear about from the devs is the SMT's but I don't fully how thoses will change some of the core issues steemit has though but I could be wrong.

Did you read the interview with the STEEM content director?
It seems that right now their focus is on SMT, HIVEMIND and Communities and that at the same time. I guess they have so much to do with these things.
I try to keep up with what is posted about future updates yes, it often sounds like politicians talking though. Instead of working with practical examples to explain how everything work with the SMT's they make it all rather difficult to understand. Not sure if it's done on purpose, but I do look forward to what the (hopefully not so far) future updates will bring.
Well it would be wrong for me to look at the value of steem for the moment, because I am not planning to power down! The value is only important when you do want to cash out.
For sure people will stop with posting and being interactive but they are wrong! Because we are paid, under the hood, in vests, there is actually no difference! A post of $1 now delivers just as much as vest as a post of $1.5 some weeks ago!
While, I don't like the value it is a fact where we do have to life with. But I will be glad when it hits $2 that I keep on being interactive and continued to post! Slowly I am climbing in the ranking and that's what does matter for me at the moment!
It also has some nice side effects. Is has been a long time ago that converting SBD to steem, did give you as much steem as we do now!
So yes, a little bit sad about it, but I won't care (yet)!

Yes, the side effect you mention is quite nice. I would also not worry too much because it's the whole crypto market and not only STEEM itself. I am also not planning to power down more the contrary will be the case.

Last time was April 1st if I remember correctly. Personally there are times that i think we are never going to get through that bear market....
I am a huge fan of Steemit/steem and I try to invest every now and then a little bit at a time. I think it is a perfect opportunity for all “believers” to do the same. I mean these prices may look like a gift at some point.
Steem inevitably will climb high, since it is revolutionary and there is high technology behind it. Also it can have every day use since there are no transaction fees.
That's what I think. Believers will see this as a gift and take their opportunity. But of course no one knows what will happen but speaking from what is going to come I can say that it looks bright.
The truth is that it is a regrettable thing as the price of STEEM continues to remain at low prices and has not had a significant increase in recent months. In spite of this, I am still gathering it and I hope that at the end of it there will be a price take-off that will impress us all! For the rest I always keep track of the current prices, every day.

I think this is also a time which separates speculators from people who believe in the core function and future possibilities of STEEM.
Steem is following the overall market, so that's why I wouldn't worry so much.
It's frustrating but not a disappoint because better things are still coming up that will boast steem up. This is a time for investment and hope for the future to be better.
So any one that has can invest and wait for profitable returns. Bitcoin was like this in 2016 December when it was 400 dollars, so there is hope for steem because it's open sourced and also people oriented.

Well, the price is actually frustrating, but to me, I feel it might be a blessing in disguise. Maybe because I have a huge project I'm working on and will need money around September - October when I think Steem price would have risen well.
All the same, its generally annoying, because lots of people need money for different things.
The continuous downtrends of steem is really alarming because it is making a lot of persons to loss confidence on steem, if you looks at most people accounts you will found out that most of these persons are powering down their steem power into liquid steem and then selling off their steem . Steem as a currency and blockchain needs a clear direction on terms of innovations and SMT release.
Many investors and persons needs to be sure of the positive direction of steem and it's platform . And as for the crypto market it is just a normal up and down trends of the market correction
But its not only with Steem .. all Cryptos are lossing ground !
That’s exactly the case Andi think people are not getting it right. If it would be just Steem than I would also say that people are loosing faith in this.
But it is the whole crypto market means other reasons are heavier than just STEEM.
I agree with your analogy but when you look at the percentage of price loss of steem compare to Bitcoin and other currencies , you will agree with me that steem has lost more in price than Bitcoin. Take for example when Bitcoin was at 6,400 dollars steem was trading at 1.18 but now the price of Bitcoin is trading at 7,460 dollars and steem is at 1.21 dollar @modernpastor
comparing steem with bitcoin is not completly relevent in similar way .. please do check Steem and ETH or BCH or Ripple or NEO, IoTA comparision ..
You will find these all are top coins and few of them have fallen more then 8 time or greater during thei free fall..
even I believe Steem has much solid ground if compare to other losing crypto as it has a solid working use case which is a great success till now and keeping evolving day by day..
If I compare steem with other crypto, I can see there is more adoption near future, doesn't metter if market recovers or not.. Until its use case (Steemit and other) are doing good. So stay focused and be positive but in mean while do not just be blind keep a close eye on the project and community via Discord, Telegram and other offical community channel.

The downtrend is making many people nervous as it sounds it might deep some more but have seen this many times before and at a point it shall rise again .This particular momnet is tough and all we can do is have patience and belive in our work in crypro.
