Great post I can now explain this more concisely to friends/family as where does the moeny come from is a common question that people want an answer to... Also, how about the interest rate on SD?
Glad you like it! Yeah I removed the interest rate part to simplify things. Interest rate is set by the witnesses and initially is at 10%, but can change. The interest is paid from a reallocation of value from Steem/Steempower to Steem dollars.
