Steem Needs Ads To Be Sustainable
I suggested along with several others 2.5 years ago Steem needs to implement ads to generate revenue back to community in order to be sustainable.
The faster Steem implements this feature the better.
There’s much demand from Crypto companies to advertise on Steem platform. Each advertiser will need to burn Steem in order to pay for ads.
The price of Steem I believe would immediately turn around if we had this feature, communities and basic SMT function.
It’s really not that hard to do after nearly 3 years of operation. @ned

Seems to be more problematic than it looks.
Not really ads dude, but I believe that the "promoted" posts should have more visibility. I don't think anyone pays attention to that promoted tab...
