Why You Should Be Extremely Happy Even Though The Prices Are Down

Hello Hello i hope you are great even though the prices aren't! I intended to upload another post i had already made but when i saw the prices i knew i had to leave it for another day. Basically the reason that the prices are down is because of the SEC that announced very suddenly a 2 months delay about Bitcoin ETF that everyone was expecting.
"We don't care about that, tell us why should we be happy you moron"
Alright Alright i'll tell, just chill. The good thing is that there are more than one reasons as to why you should be happy and i am gonna state and explain them right below:
1) Great Investment
I bet there was a time that all of you thought ''i wish i knew about bitcoin/steem/eth/litecoin/ sooner, i would definitely invest on it". There is still a way to earn a couple of bucks easily in my opinion. The price of mostly any crypto reached a ''historical bottom" and may reach even deeper to 6000k or if we are talking about steem to under 1$
It may sound like we are closer to hell but truth is it's the exact opposite. The prices are extremely low and you can easily invest as much money as you want to and probably in 1-3 months you will already have gains. I am not any expert to that but cryptos go up and down all the time, so i am not worrying.
Investing a small portion to buy steem and steem power now that it's close to 1$ or bitcoin that is 6500 will only benefit you in the long term. I did it myself too but with small portions of money. Let me be more specific.
I had about 45-50$ in my coinbase account that i was thinking to withdraw to my bank account. When i saw that drop in the prices (when bitcoin was about 7000k) i said yolo and basically bought with my 45-50$ double the amount of bitcoin-litecoin that i originally used to turn them into $$. In other words if prices will go up which i believe they will, and bitcoin reach again just 8000$ i will have earn double the amount of money i invested.
2) Earning More
You may think that because your upvoted worth less that in general you will earn less but the truth maybe a little bit different. When the prices are lower sbd is printed less while you earn more rewards in steem and steem power. So you earn more in 2 different ways if you think about it.
SBD probably won't reach again 10$ that easily so having Steem and SP are the best ways to gain more earning in this platform.
3) Getting Rid Of The "Cancer"
What i mean by that are the people that joined steemit only to earn money and for that they will take advantage of everyone and will even try to ''harm'' someone by stealing the account, your phishing links etc etc Another category are those that only do shitposts with stolen content and the usual comments of ''great post'' ''you are the best sir''
Most of those people joined when the prices were pumped but now that reached so low, some of them will probably leave in search for the next "opportunity" to scam people. In other words the platform will become better!
I hope i helped you a bit to understand that even though we see sometimes the prices to drop, the reality maybe a little different and things better that what we've imagined!

The third point imo is the best lol. It is better to be rid of those people, going by quality over quantity and if people can't stay at worst then they don't deserve to be here at its best.
We will have the final laugh hahahuhuhu but it still hurt to see them red figures lol

HAHAHAHA I kinda laugh at that part, the one with ''great post'' ''you are the best sir''. I read so many comments like that, even if the post isn't really something that you should be telling the author ''great post'' ''you are the best sir'' (i mean post with questions, or misfortune rants). This just means they didn't really take time to read the post. XD
I have only seen a handful of people who really takes the time to read things here. So I highly appreciate those that comment with something thoughtful because they are a rare find lol.

True! Lol The price of Steem might be low right now and people are only getting low payouts, but just imagine when the price of Steem starts to moon. 1 STEEM could be the next 1 BTC. Bitcoin started out this low and I personally think Steem have more potential in terms of Speed and almost everything compared to other crypto coins. Well I could only dream lol
We are all dreaming of that day, but I hope when that day comes we can have more people that are actually interacting with others than another influx of "nice post, upvoted!" types lol

that would be awesome but i think it's an utopia :P same story like the hope that sometime it will reach the price of bitcoin :P (sorry @jlordc at least hope dies last :P). Given the way steemit is formed there is no chance to reach bitcoin mostly never, except if bitcoin falls a lot :P
I think it would be a miracle if someday 1 steem equals 15-20$ :P
I will still continue on dreaming for that day to come lol
I for one personally do think it will just be around $3-$5. If it indeed reach the price of BTC even once, a lot of people would immediately cash out lol. I still do stand by my statement that compared to other Crypto like BTC, Steem is much more better :)

hmm i had the same thought too but the reality is a bit different because they have different uses. For example bitcoin was the first from every other crypto so ofc it will have a lot of flaws compared to other crypto.
Because it was the first though and most people got this, now it is the number 1 crypto for money storage. It's literally like gold and even better. Litecoin is the silver and it is a little bit better than btc in terms of speed transactions etc etc.
All of the other cryptos have completely different uses, like social platforms, solving problems, a place that you can built apps etc etc so you can't compare all of them together.
I even saw but i don't remember a chart that showed 4-5 categories of cryptos
I know of people who have been secretly wishing for STEEM to dip this low so they could buy and accumulate SP as much as possible months ago. But sadly when faced with the scenario, people will most always back out as it looks like STEEM is on the verge of collapsing.
I still do think they are wrong and Steem will probably go back up before the year ends to at least $3-$5.
This is true. I did see a dramatic decrease of spammers and copy-paste people and fishers lately. Problem is that when Steem recovers those same people would probably be back again ha ha
yes it's as you say and also some people will make a lot of money now, not only from steemit but from other cryptos as well. Just think the simplicity of it. you buy 1btc with 6500$ and probably in 1-2 months bitcoin will be again around 8k if not more. Boom 1500$ income
That's very true and in there is where i believe steemit inc comes. they have to take measures cause now they know what the problems are and the causes, so they have to sit their asses down along with some high members here and come up with something that long term will increase the people that join this platform as well as the price
Hardfork 20 is actually planned to be released as early as Sept 25 with a possible fix for that through their RC(Resource Credits) implementation :)
Hope this one works out.
As for me, it would have been nice if they fix first the feed here on Steemit. I honestly don't like it. Makes me visit only a couple of accounts of it.

yes i totally agree about the feed and i am really disappointed as to how difficult makes the search. Also something must be done for our oldest posts because now it's like they have no meaning, like it's completely crappy content :p once you write it and 2 days pass it's dead

...επισης να προσθεσω οτι εχουν γινει Mine μεχρι σημερα αν δεν κανω λαθος γυρω στα 17,5 μυρια btc....και ολοι γνωριζουμε οτι μενουν αλλα 3,5 να βγουν....μετα χαιρετα μας τον πλατανο....θα αλλαξει το τοπιο παρα πολυ....οποτε πραγματικα προσωπικη μου αποψη ειναι 'ας πεσει η τιμη και στα 3.5 χιλιαρικα.. καλυτερα θα αγορασω φθηνα'

I think the phishing scams have nearly died on here but I am skeptical and expect them to come back at some stage
i hope that in-between they find some solution or take some measures against those guys cause now they know where most of the problems lie here on steemit. If they care and want steemit to reach its full potential they had to do something or else it will become way worse, most people are gonna leave for good and the price will drop long term
i don't even care about the short term prices :)

Totally! People who came in to Steemit when STEEM was riding above $7 just doesn't realize that we have been languishing way below a dollar for such a long time. Just having STEEM above a dollar is a blessing!
