Introduction
This post will discuss useful tools I have found so far in my steem experience. I will discuss various communities and a secret hash tag you can use. Free post promotion areas on discord to help minnows get upvotes and sbd and most importantly eyeballs. Useful upvote exchanges that help facilitate the positive sum game of steemit by facilitating mutually beneficial exchanges that do not elevate spam, and in the rare cases they do, it helps us identify and eliminate the spam that threatens the whole steem community.
There are also some interesting tools for understanding the steemit chain. Though I prefer MIT/BSD/Zlib permissive licenses, I made an exception and included a copyleft tool for dice so you might make your own steem gambling platform. I also provide some cool tools that are the good permissive kind of FOSS that are actually free, not nominally with restrictions where if you don’t follow the rules you are infringing copyright—better hope it’s not registered with the copyright office for statutory damages bro if you’re not keen on following minor things the author probably doesnt care about at least not enough for the possible repercussions if not followed.
Steem Communities beyond Discord
The best community I have been part of so far is the steemthat community. You can add the #steemthatshare as one of your tags and have it on their website for free. There is also a nice SP delegation tool, lots of useful information for minnows and a growing community of steemers interacting. Additionally, there is an auxilary currency that may help you gain more steem value in the future that you earn for participating in the community.
