If you have been on Steem for 2 year or more you will have seen the price of Steem plumet, while the blockchain has gone frome strength to strength. Many have run for the hills, calling it a scam or a bubble. However the low price of Steem can be seen as a huge oppurtunity rather than a problem.

Steem is a bargain!

The price of Steem at the moment is hovering at around $0.16, while 2 years ago it was over $4! And 2 years ago Steem was a much more basic place - there was no Steem-engine, no tribes and alot more spam and scams.

This makes Steem a great oppurtunity for those who want to invest in Steem. There are more avenues than ever for users to invest and delegate their SP. Along with this their is the potential for Steem to skyrocket in price, meaning the initial investment will now be worth alot more.

Investors will be key to taking Steem to the next level, and now is the time to get a bargain!

Steem is easier to earn

As the price of Steem has kept declining many users have left - powered down and never to be seen again. This has seen the overall userbase in freefall. However, less users means less people competing for those Steem rewards.

I imagine if the price of Steem spikes to $4 again we will see a massive influx of new (and old) users. This will probably increase the junk on here (in the short term), but also lead to rewards being spread more thin again. We might even see the return of those 'upvote my post' type comments!
