Steemit has always been pretty volatile and unpredictable unlike BTC's sister coins like LTC and to an extent ETH. Those seem like they will always follow bitcoin's lead.

Great questions though @secter I'll be looking for an answer to that tonight.

    Actually LTC and ETH are down too. As far as I have seen they go the opposite way as Bitcoin normally ;)
