[QUESTION] What is the formula for curation and author rewards?
I understand the basic structure of the rewards, but I'd like details. Is there documentation out there for how the current implementation works?
I'm hoping to build a simulator to check for perverse incentives, and it's no good if I'm simulating the wrong formula.

Oh wow, this post is old. How did you find it? I never ended up creating the simulator because I got distracted by a bunch of other more valuable projects like my voting bots.

@biophil i am a little confused about author rewards. it says everywhere that the author rewards are 50% SBD and 50% SP ( if the default option was selected while posting articles ) yet all the author rewards i see are like 5.887 SBD, and 0.951 STEEM POWER or 11 SBD, and 1.7 STEEM POWER that does not look like 50% distribution
