How do I boost a post?
Send a transfer of 2 STEEM/SBD (minimum) to @bid.bot.
In the transfer's memo, include the link of the post you want to boost.
Remember that memos must be encrypted, and to do this you need to prepend a # to it.
**Send your bids via Steemit only. Other frontends may not encrypt the memos and the transfer will be refunded! **
Don't forget. In order to send an encrypted memo via Steemit, you should login with your master password.
For example,

Once the transfer is complete, your bid will be in place and I will send an upvote to your post.
How do I boost a post with my Bid.Bot Credits?
To use your Bid.Bot Credits to boost a post, send a transfer of 0.001 SBD to @bid.bot, and include an encrypted memo, formatted as follows:

or
# from-credits 5.000 SBD https://steemit.com/steem/@bid.bot/howto
Do I earn Bid.Bot Credits by boosting a post?
Nope. You can only earn Bid.Bot Credits by flagging a post or by delegating some Steem Power to @bid.bot.
Flagging
How do I flag a post?
Send a transfer of no less than 2 STEEM or SBD to @bid.bot.
In the memo, include a link to the post you want to flag.
Make sure your memo is encrypted. To encrypt a memo, you need to prepend a # to it.
For example,
# flag https://steemit.com/steem/@bid.bot/howto
Once the transfer is complete, the bid will be included in the system and I will downvote the post.
Do I earn Bid.Bot Credits by flagging a post?
Yes. You earn exactly the same amout of STEEM/SBD you have sent for the flag in the form of Bid.Bot Credits.
For example, if you send 5 STEEM to flag a post, that 5 STEEM will be returned to you in the form of Bid.Bot Credits. You can then use those Bid.Bot Credits to boost any post, as explained above.
Can I flag a post with my Bid.Bot Credits?
Nope. Bid.Bot Credits can only be used to boost posts.
Delegating
What is my share of the Profits if I Delegate?
@Bid.Bot returns exactly 95% of the profits in liquid STEEM/SBD to the delegators, in proportion to how much they have delegated.
Do I Earn Bid.Bot Credits by Delegating?
Yes you do! Every day, 95% of the profits are shared with the delegators. 10% of your portion is also transformed into Bid.Bot Credits and sent to your wallet, practically giving you extra credit to boost your posts with, just from delegating.
How Delegating Works?
Delegation on Steem allows you to lend your Steem Power to another account. It is risk-free and you can get your delegated Steem Power back anytime.
To delegate to @bid.bot, compose this link and open it in your browser:

Replace
youraccountwith your username.Replace
1000with the actual amount of Steem Power you wish to delegate.
After successful delegation, you will start to receive your share of the profits plus Bid.Bot Credits on a daily basis.

What are the minimum and maximum bids?
For upvotes, the minimum bid is 2 STEEM/SBD. The maximum bid is 50 STEEM/SBD.
For flags or downvotes, the minimum bid is 2 STEEM/SBD. The maximum bid is 25 STEEM/SBD.
Is there a minimum and maximum post age?
The minimum post age is 2 hours.
The maximum post age is 3 days.
Will I get a refund for invalid bids?
You will get a refund for every invalid bid made, except if you have been blacklisted.
No refunds will be granted to posts that have been downvoted by any of the following accounts:

Are there any restricted tags?
Yes. For now, any post tagged as nsfw will be rejected.
What blacklists are used by @Bid.Bot
@Bid.Bot uses the Steemit blacklist as well as a custom one.
How do I get Whitelisted?
If your reputation is 65 or higher, you will automatically be whitelisted. You are also whitelisted if your posts have previously been upvoted by any of the following curation initiatives:

What if I want to flag a post already voted by @bid.bot?
At the moment, you can't. Work is being done to make that possible. If you believe there was abuse, please report that on my Discord server.
How Bid.Bot Credits work exactly
Bid.Bot Credits are stored in the blockchain in the form of unencrypted memos sent to your account directly by the @bidbot.credits account among with a 0.001 sbd transfer.
Every time you accumulate or use your Bid.Credits successfully, a memo will be sent to your account with the remaining balance amount.
E.g.
Credits Balance STEEM: 5.000 SBD: 5.000
Bid.Bot Credits are not transferrable to another account.
Trying to abuse the flagging system will result in your account being blacklisted and the loss of all your Bid.Bot Credits.

I found some spam that I would like to flag. Only problem is there is only about $3.98 per post.

You could update the post directly as long as you can. Include the date of the last update and you can write the changes in the comment, otherwise, the changes will be missed. You could write a note in the post that the changes and possible further changes will be tracked in the comments.Edit: Actually, you made the changes in the post. However, you missed the max age of the post. It still says 6 days.
