Yes, as I have mentioned everything happens in your browser it is as safe as posting on Steemit. Plus is HTTPS SSL certificate encryption and you don't need to post your master key, just active key.

He's literally copied my code and made it free for now so he can charge later. Not cool because I did not give him permission to do so. You can see my tool HERE. I wouldn't trust him...

I took it from github https://github.com/msg768/mysteemit and modified UI and backend. There is no sign of copyright on Github page.
According to Github license I am allowed to do that. You can read it here
