Steemit Switching From US Dollar - USD to Chinese Yuan - CYN?

Okay, I am not going into details here. For one, because I don't know enough about the blockchain and the mechanisms in which the value of Steem is calculated based on the fiat currency into which it can be converted. As someone who became a 'barter' member of the first barter network in Europe, trading without fiat currency is not new to me. However, it still eludes me to what degree there is an actual network where one can barter for items or services needed in day-to-day life. This would then make the conversion into fiat unnecessary.

But with Steem being connected to the Dollar - USD, another grave risk appears to be presenting itself now. If the USD is the only fiat currency to which Steem is 'mated', what will happen when in relation to global trade only the value of the Dollar is taking a slump based on the largest debt economy on Earth? The US has become like a split personality. It is many things at once. Most notably the largest arms/weapons industry on the planet. It is the only country constantly at war since 1945. With the exception of a few month without any open hostilities towards other nations. It is a psychopath suffering from psychological projection, paranoia, delusions of grandeur and exceptionalism. It is also as hardcore religiously fanatic as those it opposes and - see above - accuses of religious fanaticism. It has the largest prison population on the planet and serves the most toxic 'food' to its own people.

These people are entirely irrelevant when it comes to the portfolio, aka the quarterly reports about profitability. A profitability-ism, or more eloquently 'the bottom line', that has long sold all family members to the highest bidder. Anything goes. As if the decrepit state of society is only to create ample of job opportunities in the field of political cabaret, or better satire - the only place where the truth about the sad affairs of a gone completely corrupt Western hemisphere can be offered to an excited audience. And no, they do not get the irony that the satire that is depicting their own way of life, their own Western societies' dream of making it from rags to riches, while they are steadily sliding down from rags to nothing, nada, zilch.

Is it possible to link Steem to the Chinese Yuan - CYN? Due to all the aforementioned aspects of what I call 'the Dollar society', people are risking everything they have spent energy on - in more than one way - to earn some sort of tokens that they can use down the road. But with the Dollar society collapsing due to the cancer of constant warfare to provide a racket for the few, a collapsing environment that can't fend off the incessant geo-engineering, with human made catastrophes, from earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, to hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding and droughts, what will become of cryptocurrency linked to the dying Dollar? While the lesser mentally gifted engage in the artificially created right versus left, liberal versus conservative, Antifa-Fascists versus Alt-Right Fascists, religious fanatics versus anybody that does not live up to their modus vivendi, humanity is sliding down to hell on earth on a well greased chute.

An utter mess that is coming apart at the seams as this is typed. And the notion of any future time in which the shit is allegedly hitting the fan is now no longer appropriate. The shit is already flung by the fan and it has been doing that for some time as well.

Odd, that I would need to go into such inconvenient detail about the present state of affairs. But as someone who contributes on Steemit and has the likely easily crushed hope to attain some sort of modest income by providing differing view points to the stagnant world view whose stench is worse than the teraton of methane that presently oozes out of more holes than there are in the largest cuisine art sieve, this is an utmost important question to me.

What about Steemit in YUAN? Or Ruble at that? What about Steemit in any other fiat currency than the dollar on life support? Thanks for enlightening me about any error in the thought process that might have occurred in this piece. I just would like to know what happens with Steem when the Dollar goes flat line.
