EOS vs Steem - What will get the Steem price moving?
EOS and BTS prices are running while Steem sits idle and trades down a bit. I think EOS will be many times larger than Steem. EOS went from 50c to 80c in the past few days with NO HYPE which has caused it to move up in the rankings at CMC and grow more than $100M in marketcap over Steem. This is only the beginning for EOS. BTS is finding some love even after being delisted from Bittrex.
I'm getting concerned about the growth of the Steem currency as it seems to be stagnant. Without any marketing push and only mediocre tweeks to the logo and webiste...I don't see a lot of reason for the price to move. I guess we'll see how the SMT's can attract attention, but I'm not convinced. For now, I've leased some of my SP as an investment to justify holding Steem over other coins.
What do you think? What could help the Steem price catch a bid? Am I over reacting?
The problem is everyone gets their free steem here, then they sell it off for BTC. This will continue until the fork in about 2 weeks. I feel like we will see a steady decline or at least not much movement in the price of alt coins until after the B2X fork.
how will the next fork take care of this? I thought it was just changing the way that SP is initially delegated to new users, no?
Indeed , EOS thy Token May not fall within this category of alt coins.

what would be the marketcap for $14 steem? is that reasonable?
245,727,757 X 14= 3,440,188,598
Twitter is 14.6Billion
SNAP is 18.2Billion
Both of them bleed cash and terrible platforms with 3rd rate community.
Now compare that with 3.4Billion for steemit.
