Game Changer

Somehow I feel inspired to post this video here today. If you've never seen it, it's the video I made the last time Ned spoke to us.
We have had some game changing news, which has had an effect on the price, and everyone is still processing it. There will be a broadcast tomorrow after which things should be more clear.
In the mean time, I've got a cup of coffee and I'm enjoying watching the Steem price tick up. With any luck, it will go right past my Dollar Cost Average at some point. It's probably a good thing the 4-week powerdown proposal hasn't been implemented yet :)
I keep going back and forth in my mind whether this is a good or bad thing. Again, after tomorrow's broadcast, things should be more clear. I hope as many witnesses and developers as possible will be around to ask the important technical questions.

You weren't feeling too great about the platform anyway right, with all the flagging and whatnot. :)
Yeah, I am still neutral at this point.
I'm so disturbed, Tron taking over might mean starting all over again, many are already threatening to Power down, it's like crowning Sun a sort of a dictator
LOL. I think it's normal for people to over react a little, since the news came kind of suddenly. As the days go on, people will chill a bit when they realise that Steemit is not Steem, and it's going to take a long time to make the required changes, if at all.
It's crazy out there and I hope people don't Just dump after they power down and tank steem. All the witness are firing all red and fuming
The way it is, the Witnesses that are not investors themselves have a lot to lose. On the Tron chain, they have zero say, and no function. The top 20 witnesses that are currently deriving an income from Steem will suddenly stop earning that income - so it's like losing your job.
That is if everyone leaves Steem. They can decide to carry on running the original Steem blockchain for those that want to stay. The problem is, exchanges may delist it, which will tank the price to nearly zero.
^^^^ This is the major concern.
Seems really scary to me, thing is I'm now hoping to see what Tron plans really because it's like we're at the tipping point and one single decision might make or mar us. And as for people with steem or holding steem I'm particularly curious as to how it will pan out
