Why do some people attack @Ned for the recent price woes of Steem?

The only thing why people would attack him is to throw their frustrations on someone and him being the CEO of Steemit and the one coming in front of us with news and upgrades for Steem and somehow the image of Steemit it's him that takes all the attacks.

The fact is that the whole crypto market is down nowadays and not only Steem is suffering price wise, but when you take a look at Steem "closer" you will see that it has plunged much more than other cryptos...Much more. From $8 that it reached maximum at the beginning of the year it's down to 20 something cents. That's about 30 times from its all time highs so there must be something that triggered investors to sell and step back from Steem.

Many of the investors are us, the ones blogging on Steemit and of course some of the OGs that have "retired" lately taking their STEEM to exchanges and dumping it. The situation is not gonna stay the same like this but for now this is what it is and Ned gets some critiques from time to time, like nowadays. It's part of the job I guess.

I do believe that he is still working on Steem and Steemit with his team, at least what has left from it, and the project won't be abandoned but it's a though time and during such times CEOs "take the eggs" that are thrown.
