You and the Blockchain... Forever

Imagine a place where you could store and display a complete history of yourself forever. You could place your memoirs in a box and bury them, or hide them in the attic of your family home. This may be considered a good storage space, but not really great on the display side of things. Or.. you could commit your life as it happens to the Steem blockchain, making it eternal, uncensorable, independent, time-stamped, and signed.

Of course there are more options still, https://eternitywall.it/ Allows for messages no longer than 72 characters to be written to the Bitcoin Blockchain, which can be then visualized on a digital wall. These messages, as with blogs submitted to the Steem Blockchain, shall represent you - eternally.

No pressure, right?

We all have the ability, using the vast array of tools available, to query the Steem Blockchain and delve into information stored there and build a picture of anyone who has submitted data. For some users this may not be particularly personal, and for others this could be a daily set of words and pictures about their life story. Some may chose not to interact and share their opinions on the posts of others, while a different user will spend hours speaking their mind and putting their views across.

My point is, either approach is fine, I just hope that whatever style you have chosen to adopt will portray you in the best light possible, and be a true reflection of the person you are 'in real life'.

Today I typed 'personality test' into google, and found https://www.16personalities.com This site uses the popular Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). If you haven't completed a test like this before, I highly recommend it, and suspect you will be surprised how accurate it can be.

Now if this personality test is correct, what I hope for the most today is that it has been reflected on Steemit.

I hope my actions and interactions here over the past 14 months, reflect the person I am in real life - and that these have imprinted a positive portrait of myself, here on the Steem Blockchain.

I guess this is open to debate (comments welcome, good and bad), but in Part 2, I will look for some evidence of this, and hope there is something to show you!
