Mayurapathy Kovil
This is a temple that I visited some months ago and I randomly saw it when I was arranging my gallery. I thought of why not I write about this place as it is one of the most beautiful Hindu temples I have ever visited.
It's always good to know that people know what you love and they remember it. When I was in the university, I got a call from a best friend from mine. She told me that she is going to a very gorgeous kovila and asked me if I wanna join. That temple is gonna open around 5p.m. but I had plans to stay till then in uni that day. And if I'm going to a temple I need to have a bath because I ate non-veg that day. So I told her that it won't be possible for me to join and thanked her for remembering me.
However, we were super productive that day and ended our work by 1p.m. which made me think that I can actually go to the temple. I called my friend to inform her that I'll join her. I went to boarding quickly to have a shower and wear an appropriate dress and started to the temple. It was Mayurapathy temple in havelock city. As soon as I went to the temple, I remembered what my batchmate told me some months ago. She had actually suggested me to visit that temple one day telling it's really beautiful. I realized she was not exaggerating when I entered the place. I loved that place to the core and I was glad that I could that visit that place on such a co-incidental way. It is absolutely a perfect place and I recommend any one to go there. We went there at the poojah time so we could stay for that too. I didn't get much pictures because it's not nice to take lots of pictures inside and it's better for you to see it in your own eyes and feel the presence there.
I was more than happy that my friend invited me and I could make it there.
Thanks for reading!
Have a nice day!
Thank you, friend!
