Steem Heights Log — A Lucky First Run

Today I jumped back into Steem Heights, ready for another climbing session.

Sometimes it takes several attempts to find a good rhythm.

Other times, everything just clicks immediately.

Today was one of those lucky days.

Right from my very first run, I could tell things were going well.

The timing felt smooth, the blocks were landing exactly where I wanted them, and the combo counter kept climbing higher and higher.

Instead of struggling to recover from mistakes, I was building momentum from the start.

A 19-combo streak is always satisfying to see.

The bonus altitude added a huge boost to my final score and helped me climb much higher than I expected.

What makes Steem Heights so exciting is that every block matters.

As the tower gets taller, the platforms become smaller and the pressure keeps increasing.

One misplaced block can end an otherwise perfect run.

Fortunately, today I managed to stay focused long enough to turn that first attempt into my best score of the day.

After finishing the run, I checked the leaderboard.

Not bad at all.

Reaching second place this early feels great, especially since many skilled players are still climbing and trying to improve their scores.

Of course, second place isn't the final goal.

Being so close to the top only makes me want to keep playing.

There are still a few meters left to gain, a few more combos to chain together, and hopefully an even better run waiting for me tomorrow.

For now, I'm happy with today's result.

A score of 119m, a 19-combo streak, and a spot in 2nd place make this one of my strongest starts in recent memory.

Tomorrow I'll need even more focus.

Who knows?

Maybe the next great run will be the one that reaches the top of the leaderboard.
