I am seeing a lot of posts being posted under the Diary Game title. I am still looking for someone to explain to me more about it.

What to explain? You live your day, take some pictures, write about it.
That part, none. But, seeing the amount of posts being written under the same title and not in one community. But, a lot of communities have the same. It makes me wonder, why do a lot of people try to write under the same title.

Oh. From what I understand, thediarygame (tdg) is one of the things that the Steemit Team initiated a few years ago. And this is included in the #betterlife activity, which -in addition to thediarygame- also has several other tags.
I think, the background of the birth of tdg is to make it easier for Steemians to write on Steem. At that time, betterlife (including tdg) received great support from the Steemit Team.
Today, although the support for this is not as great as it used to be, some users, perhaps already enjoying this, continue to do tdg (and perhaps other betterlife) until today.
You have written for Actifit, which I think has a similar pattern to tdg. You can just include some photos to give a visual representation of the day you're describing, if you want to do tdg.
Indeed! Both have many similarities. But, apparently there is some guidelines to post in tdg. I can see many are sticking to that, which shall be rewarded. But, it is not something that I saw in 1 or 2 communities.
Now, that you've mentioned that it is a Steemit initiative. It makes more sense that it is across many communities.
