In his direction, the Deputy Regent of Bireuen Razuardi invited all leaders and members of the Aceh Customary Council, especially in Bireuen, to continue to maintain and preserve customs.
"Let's make Aceh customs a momentum to maintain, and preserve and improve them together with Islamic Sharia in the land of Bireuen," he invited.
As well as increasing the sense of love for Aceh customs which are ancestral heritage.
He hopes that with the implementation of this Acehnese customs socialization event, we can better understand and appreciate the ancestral values contained therein.
"Let's together maintain and preserve our traditional heritage so that it remains sustainable from generation to generation," he said.
Acehnese customs are very special, not just ordinary customs. Acehnese customs are in line with Islamic law, which is implemented day by day in their lives.
In accordance with the proverb: Customs Ngen Hukom Lagee Zat Ngen Sifeut (Customs with Law are like substances with properties).
Customs bak poeteumeureuhom Hukom Bak syiah Kuala Qanun bak putroe phang Reusam bak bentara. Customs bek meukoh rubong Hukom bek meukoh purih.
Customs bek beurangkaho takong. Hukom bek beuramgkaho takieh. Matee aneuk mupat jrat. Gadoh customs adat hana pat tamita.
"To all participants, please follow this event with full enthusiasm," he hoped.
The Head of MAA Bireuen, Ridwan Khalid, this activity is expected to enable the community to understand and comprehend the customs that have indeed been passed down from generation to generation, and must be maintained until now and into the future.
According to him, what is happening now is that our children no longer know the customs, they do not know what customs are.
"Customs are an important part that must be known by the community and implemented, so that foreign culture does not result in the destruction of our customs," he said.
Ridwan Khalid also hopes for government support, especially in issuing the qanun on customs.
"And we have conveyed that to the government," he said.
Ridwan Khalid hopes that this year the qanun on customs can be completed and it will be a guideline for our children and grandchildren.
"Until now, we do not have a qanun on customs and I have proposed and asked for support from all parties," he concluded.
