Hello friends! Music is my voice. I share my words by singing. This journey in VOS-25 is totally different and excited 😊. I am happy that I passed last judges stage. I like to sing with feelings. When I sing, I have no idea, what's happening around me. This contest give me a place to show my voice to all. Now I want to give my best. I hope to move to the next stage, InshaAllah.
I am your own @shahidalinaz. I am very simple person who loves to sing from heart. Singing is like my way of breathing. Its not only hobby but also something deep for me. When I was in judges stage, honestly I was nervous, but I gave my best with full emotion. Some people say luck matter, but I feel it was more about merit and hard work. I practice a lot, I put soul in song and judges felt that. Chance can give moment, but to survive I need truth in my voice. So yes, I believe it was my merit, but also Allah’s blessing that helped me to stay strong on stage.
I chose song Rafta Rafta by Atif Aslam. I took this song because it has emotions and feelings. Songs words are simple but touch to heart directly. When I sing it, I feel like my own story is inside the lyrics. My voice is soft and emotional. So according to me , this song suits me very well. Atif Aslam style also inspire me, his way of singing is close to how I feel music. The song needs depth, not just high notes. That is why, my voice becomes natural. These things forced me to sing it. I am happy with the choice.
In my words, singing with my own voice is always sweeter. Because it shows real feelings without any extra layers. When a person sings without background, only his raw voice, we can hear his heart inside the sound. Still, I believe audio accompaniment also add beauty, like decoration around a flower. It makes performance more complete and musical. But I love when people listen only my voice. In this way, they can feel my honesty, my pain, and my happiness. So yes, both are good in their own way, but I like simple voice from the soul.
In this stage, what I enjoy most is the connection with people. When I sing, I don’t just perform, I talk to every heart who listen. That feeling is priceless, it makes me forget fear. I enjoy that my voice can carry love and emotion to audience. About eviction, honestly I don’t know the result, but I believe if you sing with truth, people will remember you even if you are out. Eviction is not end, it is just one step. I feel positive that I will stay, but even if not, I will be happy because I gave my heart fully.
