Contest Alert: All in One Contest W10 || Unity in the Family

I want to sincerely thank the Steem Kids & Parents community and our wonderful hosts @steemkidss and the entire team for creating this contest. It is a great opportunity for both parents and children to learn, share experiences, and grow together in love and unity.

To me, unity is a special bond. This bond comes from togetherness. The little acts of togetherness : eating together, playing together, praying together are the common things that unite a family.

Children do not perform well in a family that is not peaceful or united. In such homes, they grow up with constant fighting, selfishness, and greediness. But in a family where there is unity, children grow in love, peace, and harmony. Parents should raise their children in a united home, teaching them love and the importance of sharing. Sharing is very important.

Unity is like the glue that holds the family together. It is a strong pillar that gathers everyone. In a united family, each person’s weakness and strength are known, and that makes it easier to help one another. For example, when parents pray together, they become aware of each other’s needs and burdens. And when prayers are made in unity, the Almighty God hears their voices.

Children feel safe and loved when their family members work as one. They feel wanted, they feel important, and they learn kindness, respect, and teamwork.

I remember when I was small, I thank God for my family. We always had morning devotions, prayed together, and ate together. My siblings and I even slept on one bed. We grew up in love and unity. Sometimes we quarreled, but no matter how serious it was, if someone tried to separate us, we would end up joining hands against that person and later laugh together. That is the beauty of unity.

Of course, some things can break unity. Constant arguments, nagging, shouting at children instead of sitting them down for advice, and most especially lack of communication. When parents do not communicate with their children, they cannot know their struggles in school, their thoughts, or what they are going through. Lack of communication slowly destroys family unity.

Ways to Build Unity in the Family

Eating meals together regularly.

Doing chores as a team.

Teaching children to help one another.

Showing kindness and forgiveness.

Celebrating each other’s achievements, birthdays, and special moments.

In the end, unity is the pillar of every strong family. Where there is unity, there is peace. Where there is peace, children grow in love, confidence, and happiness.
