THE HUMAN CONSCIENCE
Good day my fellow steemians, I hope you are all enjoying your day. I know I am enjoying my day and I'm in a very good mood.
The word conscience is translated from the Greek sy·neiʹde·sis, which is drawn from syn (with) and eiʹde·sis (knowledge) and therefore means co- knowledge or knowledge with oneself.
Conscience is the ability to look at one's actions, thoughts and so on and judge for yourself without being told by anyone else what is right and what is wrong.
The human conscience can be described as moral compass it gives us some sort of rewarding feeling or allows us to praise our self when we do something right and scolds or spanks us when we do something wrong.
I used a compass in comparison to the human conscience because just as a compass or navigator is important when we are lost so also our conscience in this wicked world we living in.
Sometimes we look at what is going on around us the actions of some people case in point the Yahoo boys the extra length they go to make this money, to get the bag. We might ask ourselves where is their conscience we all have conscience but theirs is ineffective or as has been mis trained and is now misleading them. Inorder for our conscience to be effective we must train it and we must remember that conscience is inherent in humans because it was created into us by God and it is only with his help through the bible can we attain a good and effective conscience, otherwise due to environmental factors and influence from peers it might also be mislead.
GOOD CONSCIENCE is the conscience that has been properly trained based on good principles and morals, a good conscience is never misleading. And if it is to remain that way we are never to constantly and willingly compromise it.
BAD CONSCIENCE is that conscience that has been constantly and willingly compromised and is no longer fit to serve as a moral navigator.
