Question about moving tokens from my Steemit Wallet?
Hi Steemians,
I'm not sure if there is where I can ask a question, I'm relatively new to the platform. I did a search on how to move money from my Steemit wallet and what I understand from the posts and videos is I have to move it to an exchange account to my Steemit wallet address on the exchange. And in the notes I say the name of the exchange.
Is this the only way or is there a better option that I just haven't found yet?

hello. i am new on here too. i think you can use shapeshift to change steem dollars to bitcoin. shapeshift changes any crypto to any other, and you don't have to sign up or join, they are a service open to everyone i believe. then if you want to change bitcoin to dollars real quick get the bitpay visa card from bitpay.com. that's what i do.
I have used Shapeshift from my Exodus wallet with no problem, but how do you get the Steem to Shapeshift?
in this video he explains how to do that, i don't know exactly where in the video he gets to that part but since you are new as i am you might want to watch the whole thing.
ok, he starts talking about shapeshift at about 1;24;00 into the video. hit the little arrow in your wallet next to steem or steem power and all the transfer stuff comes up.
Thanks guys/gals I figure out a very very simple way using Blocktrades. I was in a rush could't write a post about it but maybe after I build up some Steem again I'll document the process of moving to my Exodus wallet it took 1 minute I was very impressed wit the process (super simple)!
