Feed Your Eyes With Culture From Okobo

Good evening from this end, I am happy for the gift of life and I thank God on behalf of everyone out there.

I am happy to officially welcome you to my village festival and I want to quickly show you a glimpse of what is upcoming up in the next 3 days. It is always four-day activities and I die here with this engagement. I have missed this Festive period(ago) and I learned that it has to be in existence for 138 years now.

Is not everywhere you will see this Igou apart from here in Okobo local government area in Akwa Ibom State. This alone took me out of my comfort zone to witness this Igou because it only takes place once a year.

This masquerade is dressed with green leaf and this particular one chases guys and try to catch with them using the fire gotten from dry plan fruit and 7 snail shell in his left hand as a weapon to sprinkle the fire on his prey.

I will drop every action as it unveils itself and me, believe me, you will not miss out once you follow the trend. This person that engages in this activity has done the needful to be part of the play and you don't go to AFA without you being initiated into the family.
