How To Upload Images to Steemit.com Using Third Party Website - Step By Step Guide with Video with English Voice
Hello everyone!
Today I am here to tell you about a method that how can you upload your pictures on steemit or steem blockchain using third party service?
We are all aware that from the last few days everyone is facing problems in steemit interface. It is taking many refreshes to load even a single page. But that problem was solved by using other user interfaces.
But currently another serious problem is going on due to which many users are facing problem in publishing their posts because they are unable to upload their images. Personally I am also facing this problem but I have found a solution for this as an emergency so that we can upload pictures and publish our posts. Many users have asked me about this problem and its solution and I have told them the solution but there are still many users who are not aware about this solution so this guide will serve greatly for all of them.
Which Third Party Image Uploading Service to Use
There are many third party websites which allow the users to upload pictures on their server and then using the link of the pictures to share with others. Similarly we can upload our pictures to those third party websites and hare a link on steemit to display our image.
These third party websites have paid services or limited services and some offer free services. I will share with you a free and fast third party website which really works and easy to use. I am also using that third party website to upload my images. This third party website is PostImage.
How To Use Post Image Website to Upload Pictures on Steemit
It is very easy and simple to use. First of all we have to go to the official postimage website.
- Go to https://postimages.org/
You will see an interface like this as you can see in the above picture. There is no need to register or log in on the website to upload images and use them for sharing purpose anywhere.
We can upload images in two ways:
By directly uploading pictures
By using URL
The central part as highlighted is used to upload images.
Here you can see the upload section. There are two options while uploading the image to the server of this website:
Image Resize: We can set any width or height to resize the image or can use original size.
Expiry: We can set expiry of the image where after that time frame the image will be deleted from the server.
But we will use by default settings because we do not need to resize the image or set a limit for the image preview. We need original size image and we do not want to delete it forever from the server because we want to display this image on steemit forever.
We can drag, paste, or directly upload images to upload on the website and get a link to use to display images on steemit.
When we paste, drag or upload the image on the website then it takes some time in uploading the image to the server. After the complete uploading it automatically forward the user to the next screen where it shows the uploaded image and tells uploading has completed.
On the uploaded page it shows different options to share the image. From all these options available we need to choose direct link. Copy the link from direct link and share/paste it in the steemit post editor and the picture will be displayed.
Sometimes it happens that the picture still does not show then do not be worried I have solution for this as well. You just need to change the name of the picture from the URL of direct link. Remove a character or add a character until the image displays correctly but it happens in rare cases.

I watched the video, why do you have to add 1 after pasting the direct link of steemit, what if I add something like 2, is there any difference in customization..
Yes you can add any character my friend. You can also remove any character. It will work. But it happens in rare cases that we need to add or remove something there.
Mostly it does not require adding or removing anything in the name of the image.
