◉ Tell us about your city? What makes it special?

Every City has what makes it very special. My City is Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Ebonyi is a state in the southeast geopolitical zone of Nigeria.
It is inhabited and populated primarily by Igbo people. We are called the salt of the Nation because we have many minerals, like limestone, salt, and even lead.

Ebonyi people are very hardworking

Economically, Ebonyi State is based on agriculture, mainly of yams, rice, oil palm, and cassava crops. A key minor industry is mining due to lead, zinc, and limestone deposits around Abakaliki, and locally hand-made baskets of various sizes at Ntezi. Ebonyi has the joint-twentieth highest Human Development Index in the country and numerous institutions of tertiary education

Many times makes my City been Ebonyi State very special ❤️, we have good roads and electricity, and we also have different kinds of institutions, even the best hospital in Nigeria is located in Ebonyi State.

I love my city so much that in my next world, I will still love to be Ebonyian. We are always very industrious; we farm very well, and we do all kinds of business that brings money except robbing and stealing.

◉ Share local traditions, foods, or hidden gems.

Several cultural festivals are celebrated in Ebonyi state, people always come out to showcase their talent. The most prominent of these festival is the Nwa-ikwo festival and tradition, which is held annually in the ikwo community one of the local government in Ebonyi state. It celebrate the ancestors and it is marked by a colorful traditional dances.

The people of Ebonyi State are known for their artistic skills, particularly in the production of pottery and basket weaving. The Abakaliki rice pot is a famous traditional pottery item, while different types of baskets, including the Odi (winnowing) basket, serve practical and ornamental purposes.

We also have different kinds of food that we like eating always, like ede soup, egusi soup, and oha soup.

Ndibe Beach: This beach is located near Afikpo and offers stunning views of the Cross River. It is a popular recreational spot where visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming, picnicking, and boating.

Another place that visitors can visit in my city is Spenrdo; Spenrdo is a beautiful place that visitors always like to visit, especially at night; the place is so beautiful that I always take my friends who are not from Ebonyi state to visit the place and snap pictures. The light is very beautiful, the design and even the road.

Another place that I always take my friends to see if they visit is Ebonyi State shopping mall; I think we have the most beautiful shopping mall in Nigeria; the place is very beautiful, and people from other states always come there to get something and also take a good look of how the place is looking.
