Contents: One picture one story
Good day everyone, and Xmas in advance and all thanks to GOD for keeping us alive till this day. Secondly I also recognized our beloved brother @suboohi for conducting this amazing content.
My eyes 👀 is full with tears as am writing this. This is a story of a security man opposite my brother house. I called him papa because is an elderly man.
He's always sad so I decided to know the reason of his dull and sadness all the time.
He was not happy to share and immediately I saw tears rolling down his face, I don't even know when I joined him to cry.
He came back from the prison after 10 years, only to meet Amaka his wife with 2 kids and with another pregnancy.
Non of the pregnancy is his he according to him because she was never pregnant before he left.
Our marriage was only eight months old before a man came in to the picture and became part of our story.
He was doing well but not so rich when he got married to his wife, but there were average okay financially and they deeply loved each other,
A man called Chief Alfred Okeke came to their wedding and spread them with a lot of money and gave them an envelope full of money with plenty of gifts.
On their wedding day, he said he was so suprised and Wondering about where he came from, but him and his wife thanked the man profusely after the wedding for his kindness.
It took some weeks before he knew that this man was interested in his wife, because he kept sending them gifts even after the wedding.
He called his wife one night and told her that he wanted her to be his, and he would take care of her better than him the husband.
The wife rebuffed bluntly and told her husband about it. And he was so pained and angry and they stopped accepting gifts from chief Alfred okeke, doing everything possible to avoid him.
Chief Alfred okeke called him one Saturday morning and offered him 10 million naira with 2 acres of land
Only if he can give his wife to him. That he loved her a lot more than him the husband.
He blasted the chief and told him never to call him again because I wouldn't honor his invitation. He insulted him and returned all the gifts and money he gave them.
Since they said money is power, Chief Alfred okeke made everything possible to allegations on him and implicated him with a murder case, something of which he knew nothing about, and he was being charged to court. Well, the with the influence and everything.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment but he used 10 years, due to his consistent prayer in the prison, he was favoured to be among the 2,000 people which the government decided to give freedom among the prisoners in the country.
Now, he came back to meet the house empty, and by the time he found his wife, she was already pregnant with 2 kids on ground for Chief Alfred okeke
When she saw him she shocked and I cried. He wandered why she stopped visiting him in prison after visiting him for 3 months.
He said he would forgive Chief Alfred okeke for implicating him, but he would never forgive Amaka, his wife for betraying him.

My question is, can COURT be the last hope of a common man?
