I think there is something adulthood does to us. I used to be a voracious reader in my secondary school days, but when I entered the University I had little time for myself.

Like in your case, I lost the interest to read interesting books, except they are my lecture materials.

I soon picked up my love for reading when I left the system. Maybe you could try other healthier options like audio books, videos, etc.
