Jujur saya katakan jika harus mengucapkan kata selamat tinggal pemikiran saya itu terlalu jauh dan dapat saya artikan itu sebuah kesedihan yang mendalam di hatiku,....
Walaupun bagi sebagian orang mengucapkan kata tersebut biasa saja, selamat tinggal bagi saya yang artinya kita tidak akan berjumpa lagi atau berjumpa pasti dalam waktu yang lama sehingga itu akan membuat saya sedih.
Kalau di sini mungkin mengucapkan selamat tinggal pada kontes ini dan akan hadir kontes selanjutnya yang mungkin lebih bagus lagi bagi saya tidak masalah, sebab saya selalu menunggu kehadirannya yang pastinya saya akan ikut kalau memang saya bisa.
Saya juga selalu menunggu kontes-kontes di beberapa komunitas yang tidak pernah saya lewatkan termasuk kontes monkey business ini.

Goodbye might not be a farewell (without return), but it's a good thing to stop with Monkey Business. There are other things I want to give priority to. This was meant to talk, have fun, and comment. 25 words is not too much to ask, and many wrote way more. It was a good place to be, but there's not even 0 support.
Not too long ago, comments, criticism were asked for, and it should be rewarded. If you check the Steemcurators over the past months, you will see that many rarely reward a comment. Why? Because the curators do not comment themselves, and not too long ago, people who wanted to be curators were told they couldn't because they don't comment. So the question is, why should I bother after all those years and keep trying? It does cost me many hours per day to read and comment. It is very time-consuming, you all noticed that yourself. I have made my friends through the passed years, those I met here I also speak outside of Steemit. I did meet them because I commented, those who are not willing to do the same, it's fine with me, but I also see no longer the need to upvote them. Why should I?
I like to give more priority to what I like, how my profiles will look like, and those who deserve to be read, which is by far not everyone.
Writing is a good way to say goodbye, and poetry might make it look more beautiful or memorable or dramatic than it is in reality.

When speaking about 25 words.. It's almost nothing to mention. Because, it is so easy to reach when writing a comment. Just explain 1 thought and you will be there.
I don't know about rewarding comments that much. But, I see that some are rewarding comments. Not all of course. There are some who are curators and others are just normal users.
But, that also depends on the comment being seen by a curator.

I don't like goodbyes, it is always difficult to let go of the things we like, but at the end of the road everything has a beginning and also an end.
As I say goodbye to this contest I know that others will come. The sponsor of this contest is a very active person on the platform and always finds ways to connect and help in some way to the user who allows himself to be helped. He always starts other contests.
So I feel this is not a goodbye but a see you next time.

I mean, it doesn't take that much time to comment. The prompt is usually one word and they are asking a comment to be written in 25 words.
I get that sometimes, you are there for the contest only. But, sometimes the topic selected is so good! For instance, this one and that week when they have chosen "complaints".

No, of course I am not leaving. The theme is farewell, goodbye, and that's why I wrote what I wrote.
I am not in this comment contest for the prizes. Sure, it's nice to win prizes but, what strikes me most is the conversation about topics that come up as the commentary unfolds.

There are many Monkey Business comment contests so you can akways read them through. Who knows what you read and who you meet although it feels many left and commenting is no longer a must since the steemitblog doesn't support those who do.

So many people are looking for short gains. So, if they would earn 0.0001 per comment (guaranteed). You might be seeing more comments.
No, I doubt it because that amount will not payout. Your reward should be higher.
I just noticed many communities are close to death and a few "bigger ones" are recruting
steemiansSP.Reddit and Quaro and a few others are mainly about commenting/advising/tips. If what is said here is mainly nonsense it's better to go elsewhere to search for informations, not that one can search on Steemit but there's plenty to read if you look at the main page and set it on NEW instead of trending.

I believe the main problem is a lack of intelligence, lack of time and one of the main factors is: Those who are here do NOT like to write. It's a quick post and that's it. Well, I like to write and I have a few who do keep writing no matter if they are read and to be fair I like to spend more time with them and also finish my projects offline.

Since "bye" is short for "goodbye" and bye is normal not seen as a farewell I assume that goodbye is a bit more official than say bye or bye bye.
