Your post made me think deeply about how we learn as we grow. Just today, I was talking to this young lady that I used to teach. I told her that I knew about all the bad behaviour when she was at school and that was the reason why I would preach in class about bad behaviour. She was sincere and I am happy she has learnt from her mistakes.

I told her not to regret anything as she will never go back to high school. I advised that she learn from the mistakes and move forward. There is no benefit in complaining or crying over spilt milk.

I follow exactly the same stance as you, there is no room for regret in this life. We can only move forward by learning from mistakes. When we learn, we convert misfortune to fortune. By learning we become winners.
