RE: SLC S23 Week2 || Geometry with GeoGebra: The Triangle and Its Elements
Hello, @sheikhtuhin, thank you for participating in this week's Steemit Learning Challenge.
I'm glad that you are learning and mastering geometry with GeoGebra. Some of the tasks turned out quite well!
Task | Comment | Grade |
---|---|---|
1. Three Altitudes | It was necessary to demonstrate the segments of the altitudes (clearly highlighting them with color or thickness), not all the lines. It should have been indicated that this is the altitude by marking the 90-degree angle. The unnecessary markings of the triangle's sides should have been removed, and the altitude from the base should have been labeled. | 1.1/1.6 |
2. Altitude, bisector, and median | Here, there is only the altitude and the median; I don't see the bisectors. Moreover, I have to guess that I see the altitude and the median. They should have been labeled. The altitude should be marked with a right angle, and the median should be marked as the segment that divides the side into two equal parts. | 1.0/1.6 |
3. Medivan triangle | The construction was done correctly, but it would have been better to color the triangle differently. Unnecessary markings should be removed, and it should be shown that points M1, M2, M3 are the midpoints of the medians (dividing the sides into equal segments). | 1.4/1.6 |
4. Orthic triangle | Here, the main element is missing – the triangle constructed using the altitudes. Because there are no altitudes here, it's unclear why you are demonstrating angles. The altitudes should have been shown, marked as altitudes, and the resulting triangle should have been presented. What are you building here? Medians? | 0/1.6 |
5. Incircle triangle | I don't see the bisectors here, but I can see the medians and some unnecessary segments. | 0/1.6 |
6. Tree triangles | You are constructing the altitude and median from one angle, and the bisector from another, which is not the task in question 6, and not even in task 2. | 0/2 |
Total: 3.5 / 10
I'm sorry, maybe this competition isn't for me because I've been trying for the past two weeks and it just hasn't been possible.Still, I will try if I can improve a little. I came here hoping to learn and I am trying to learn.
