The Diary Game : (31-Mar-2025) | Celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Assalamu Alaikum to all. I hope you are all well. Happy Eid Mubarak to everyone. After a long month of Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr has been celebrated today in Bangladesh. So I will share these moments with you as I celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr all day. I woke up early in the morning and went to the mosque to pray Fajr. There were many other Muslims who met them. After that, after Fajr prayer, I came home and took a bath to freshen up because after a while I have to go to the mosque for Eid prayer. So we all put on new clothes, especially we boys wore Punjabi. Then we all left for the mosque. We all took Eid selfies on the road while going to the mosque.

We celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with great joy every year. Eid-ul-Fitr is a special day of joy for Muslims. After a month of fasting, this day comes as a reward. It is not only a religious festival but also a symbol of family bonding, social cohesion and human compassion. One of the main attractions of Eid-ul-Fitr is family and social gathering. Relatives and friends come together to share the joy of Eid. The younger ones greet the older ones and the older ones give blessings and gifts to the younger ones. So we went directly to the mosque from there. Standing in front of the mosque, I gave a few pictures to many people.

Eid prayers are held in our mosque at 8:30 am. Everyone was told this beforehand so we entered the mosque on time. Eid is not only for rich or special class it is a day of joy for all. On this day, people forget their differences and stand in a row to offer Eid prayers. Everyone extends a hand of friendship and love to each other. Going to the mosque we met some others and exchanged kushal with them. Then I was listening to some important discussion inside the mosque when my nephew sat in front of me and said he will take a picture.

The joy of praying together in a mosque or an Eidgah on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr is truly different. After fasting for a long month, I prayed shoulder to shoulder with everyone I knew and didn't know. After praying, prayers were offered to all. After coming out of the mosque, I met my cousin and took the imam of the mosque to meet him at our house. I was walking along the road and took a picture. These moments of Eid greetings to each other bring immense joy.

After that we all came to our house. There was a cemetery next to our house and we prayed for the grave dwellers. Then we all got together and served different items of food. Eid is a very happy moment when everyone gets together to eat. We had a variety of food including Polao, fried eggs, fried eggplant, various salads, chicken and beef. There was a variety of desserts for the sweet tooth. Anyway after eating and drinking we rested for a while. Then we planned to go out on a bike trip on the occasion of Eid. So with bikes we were going to enjoy the natural beauty of our village and make videos. I was driving the bike and enjoying the scenery ahead. My uncle was videoing them from behind.

In between, when it was time for prayer, we all went to the mosque and prayed. Then we rested for a while and spent the afternoon by a river. Our village has a big river with a huge brick kiln and a sunset spot next to it. So I spent some time there and then it was time for Asr prayer. So because of the mosque next door, we prayed and enjoyed the natural beauty there. Beside us there were many other people who were enjoying the view as tourists. The sun was about to set and I stood in front of the sun and took some pictures. There I stood and in front of me my younger brother was handing out my pictures.

We spent some time there today's Eid is complete for us. We thought we would travel again tomorrow. Anyway, I returned home from there before Maghrib azan. Then I went to the mosque and prayed. After namaz I started to talk about the whole day's events in detail with everyone. Today I prayed the Eid prayer, then after having special food and drink, we all traveled by bike and toured the different areas of our Mirzapur city and returned home after spending time by the river. Celebrated Eid today very beautifully, it is a very memorable day for me. After finishing all my work at night I prayed and ate some food at night and went to bed and ended the day like today.
