We can see in the a narrow road is meeting another wide road. There were tram line on this narrow road. Trams used emerge into the wide road from this narrow road. Some used to take left turn towards Thakurpukur and some used to take right turn towards Esplanade via Khidirpur. Many people enjoyed tram ride everyday.

This wide road actually is NH way connect South 24 parganas with the city and one of the busiest road of the state. There were huge traffic jams on both directional movements of vehicles. The most congested area was taratala near Behala Tram Depo. It was decided by PWD to make an over bridge. So the tram by default had to be removed. Initially the Tram towards Esplanade was stopped. But the trams towards Thakurpukur continued for some time. Unfortunately there were no passengers either. One fine morning the Tram lines were from both the routes. Only the name Tram Depo Market exists.

In course of time metro railway decided to make a route from Joka to Esplanade known to be Pink line metro. Actually the overbridge found in the picture is supporting the metro track. The shaded area is the platform of Behala Bazar station.

When I was walking along the road I discovered the setting Sun under the metro flyover. I was motivated by the setting Sun in continuous changing surroundings. The natural routine really makes us aware of the value of punctuality and discipline.
