Climate changes
Climate change is when there's a changes in the weather patterns of the Earth. Apart from nature, human activity also responsible for climate changes, in what way? through burning fossil fuels and deforestation, whereby this burning releases greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and trap heat, causing the Earth to warm.
But before I begin the contest, I like to place my humble invitation to @steemdoctor2, @tripple-e, @ogechukwu-martha and @bossj23 to participate and create and awareness on how to stop climate changes. I will explain the harmful effects of climate changes, who to blame fir global warming, impact of climate changes to agriculture, what we all can do to protect the ill effect of climate changes
Explain the harmful effects of climate change |
|---|
I have explain what the climate changes means, now the question is, what are the effects, let's find out:
♦️There will be warmer temperatures and rising sea levels. because the earth is warm, the effects will results in weather events like hurricanes, floods, and droughts.
♦️Many will loss their habitat: Many animals will lose their habitats due to climate change because they can't adapt to the temperature
♦️There will be food and water shortage. Climate change will affect agricultural production and water availability, which can create food and water shortages.
♦️Human health will be in danger: Climate change will cause increases in vector-borne diseases and respiratory illnesses.
What factors would you blame for global warming? |
|---|
Through many research we have to come to realize that global warming is actually cause by human activities, in what way? Let's find out:
♦️Burning of fossil fuels: When we burn coal, oil, and gas for energy, we release greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. These gases trap heat, which contributes to global warming.
♦️Deforestation: Trees help in absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, but when human cut down forests, we release that carbon the tree suppose to absorb back into the air.
♦️Industrial agriculture: Factory farms produce large amounts of methane, a powerful greenhouse gas, and often contribute to deforestation.
♦️Energy inefficient buildings and transportation: The way we design and power our buildings and transportation systems can also contribute to climate change.
♦️ Population growth: As the world’s population grows, our demand for energy and resources also increases.
Impact of climate change on agriculture |
|---|
After we have discussed the harmful effects and humans activities in climate changes, how the changes affect agriculture? Am sure you're still with me, let find out again:
'***
♦️Rising temperatures make it more difficult for many crops to grow, leading to lower yields and decreased quality and they'll be frequent and severe droughts, which leads to water scarcity for crops.
♦️It's will also affect agriculture in a way that they will be frequent and intense drought, floods and storm which can damage the crops and infrastructure.
♦️Pests and diseases: Climate change is affecting the distribution and behavior of pests and diseases, which can have a negative impact on crops.
♦️Rising temperatures and more intense rainfall causes soil erosion, which reduces the fertility and increases vulnerability to drought, and the Crops will find it difficult to adapt to changing conditions.
What do you do to protect against the ill effects of climate change? |
|---|
This is where the real question, how can we help? what should be do? According to my research we can protect the ill climate changes by reducing the greenhouse gas emissions to investing in climate-resilient infrastructure, how?
♦️Investing in renewable energy sources like wind and solar power can reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and lower greenhouse gas emissions.
♦️Practicing no-till farming and cover cropping can improve soil fertility and reduce carbon emissions.
♦️Planting more trees: Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, which can help mitigate the effects of climate change.
♦️Eating less meat can help lower the carbon footprint because animals agriculture also contribute to greenhouse gas emissions.
♦️Reducjng food waste and Investing in climate-resilient infrastructure like flood control systems and drought-resistant crops can help communities become more resilient to climate change.
In conclusion, Climate changes is when the greenhouse gas is released to the atmosphere causing the Earth to be arm. This climate changes sometimes are cause by human activities like cutting down trees, and the effects of that, it's can lead to airborne diseases. In other to prevent global warming, we need to find a way on how to resist it by planting more trees.

i really appreciate the support. thank you.
You got it right by your points. But my question is if we plant more trees what about our agriculture I mean rice, beans, cassava and the rest of them? 😱🤗
we chop them 😂
what do you expect 😂
I can't stop laughing, but I hope you know place is different from tree. My opinion though. 😎
Na you know.
