Quick Update: Dporn Adds PORN Token To Steem Engine
PORN Token Added To Steem Engine:
We’ve added our new Porn token to Steem Engine. Over the next couple of weeks/days, we’ll be updating our community with how you can obtain Porn tokens and what is required to actually earn them.
We are tinkering with some ways the Token economics behind it will work and came up with a few that haven’t been done before to date. We'll see how that pans out.
What will be different on Dporn.co this time?
Dporn was set-up originally as a heavily video-centric adult Steem blockchain based site via ipfs. You can see some of our original designs on StateofDapps.com. We are currently going to start off with pictures ( think girlsgonewild from /r/gonewild) and open up a ScotTube ( PornTube ) for our video hosting needs when it’s ready. ( The full “tribe” package ) . “Tribe” package will contain a ready-made Dtube like hosting site and TokenBB forum.
Specialized Content:
We are piping in our own content ( Dporn Studios ) for your viewing pleasure with a few verified content creators. This enables us to have verified content, which in return can be upvoted knowing the content is original. We’ll be providing a list of original content creators when the site goes “live”.
What Next?
Over the next couple of days, weeks you'll be given an opportunity to get your hands on some new shiny Porn tokens. A whitepaper should be following soon on how we plan to monetize the site and help you earn more on your stake. We'll be enabling Porn token as a stake-able token so you can start to stake your tokens once we release the token economics for it.

scottube is ready as of today. Assuming you have strict guidelines on child porn and making sure that what surfaces is based on voluntary arrangements as opposed to coerced sex trafficked people I plan to support this project.
We noticed Scottube is finally now out and have been following developments of what you've been doing for the past few months. We've had strict guidelines on child porn since day 1 when we arrived here on the Steem blockchain. Correct, everything is based on voluntary arrangements we have 100% no tolerance policy on sex/trafficking/child porn. We have some unique ways we will be implementing to basically de-centivized plagiarism/stolen content which we have described in previous posts but will write another post around it to remind people.
As for strict content guidelines, we will be putting forth a long list of requirements. We have a system already in place for verification of potential participates. Even the content will and participation might even be fairly strict to start with, as we are going to attempt a new take on some token economics that will involve subscriptions around the content we serve and others put up. Something we are currently toying around with. We appreciate all the work you've done and appreciate your planned support. We feel this is a "Niche" we can help drive traffic here and help benefit everyone. Thanks and appreciate any feedback going forward.

I suppose this makes sense.
We all know that sex sells. There is huge money in the industry and this project can tap into it. I'll be watching to see how you do and how you plan to set up with regards to making a profit. If you have good content and a good business model, there are huge opportunities for this.

I was browsing steem-engine last night and saw the token, shrugged it off at first, but it is actually a great project and was a matter of time before porn would make its way on here. Keeping it safe and to the normal standards expected i.e. without child porn or trafficked, forced sex is a major player in providing the quality and real content.

Thanks, for the response and feedback @thegoliath. Yes, we listed it a few months ago, but just didn't announce it. Glad to hear you think it would be a great project. We have always assumed porn would make its way here, hence we start the efforts in 2018 and have been with the Steem blockchain all the way since.
I think there is great potential here, especially in live-streaming.
One of the problems of the industry is that the performers actually get ~40% of the payments that viewers put in and only on a payday-style schedule. The cam platforms take huge cuts and are apparently very difficult to work with.
I was an investor in the LIVE project that was addressing this, but the developers ended up ghosting.
With a steem-engine tribe you can have instant payments and whatever splits you want. It could be a win for everyone involved. Imagine the drive for curation!

Live-streaming has been on our mind since day 1 - and, perhaps dtube will allow this to happen for their dtube tribe instance. I believe they turned it off on d.tube currently @dtube ?
Payment to performers has always been issue in cam platforms. I see no reason why blockchains can't help them out. Sorry, to hear some developers ended up ghosting you on some "LIVE" version on such a proposal.
We are in new terrority for all this I agree. It's what keeps me motivated to figure this all out. Seems we are on the same page , for the fact it will be win-win for content creator and content curator.

Porn is such a massive industry and it will be great to have content creators rewarded for their work in an organic way. My friend Dave, who is a consumer of porn will be very interested to see how this pans out especially regarding safe guards to respect copyright.

Thanks, @ammonite we agree no blockchain has yet to corner the adult market in a mainstream way. We agree on the rewarding content creators organically and grow the platform up through the community while safely respect copyright.
