STEEM EVM Update: BlockScout Explorer Now Live !
Just a few days ago, I announced that the Steem Virtual Machine (SVM) private testnet was live and called for validators to help stress-test our new Layer-2 solution built on Rust's REVM. You can read the full announcement here:

🔍 BlockScout Explorer is Now Connected!
Great news! After successful testing on the network, I'm excited to announce that BlockScout, the powerful EVM explorer, is now connected to our SVM RPC and fully operational!
You can explore the Steem Virtual Machine here:

This explorer allows you to:
- View transactions and blocks in real-time
- Track smart contract deployments
- Monitor token transfers
- Inspect contract code and interactions
💼 Connect MetaMask & Get Test Tokens!
You can now connect your MetaMask wallet directly through the BlockScout explorer! Simply click the wallet icon in the top-right corner of the explorer to connect.
Add SVM Network to MetaMask:
To interact with the Steem Virtual Machine, add these network details to your MetaMask:
- Network Name: Steem Virtual Machine (SVM)
- RPC URL:

8163(or0x1fe3in hex) - Currency Symbol: STEEM (or your preferred token symbol)

👥 Validator Expansion Coming Soon
As mentioned in my previous post, I'll be reaching out to key community validators including @cur8 and @h4lab to join the validator set. This will help us test consensus mechanisms and multi-node block production as we move closer to mainnet readiness.
