The Diary Game [14/03/2025]Supervision day at my work place, scheduled by the regional pedagogic inspector.

Hello @everyone accept special greetings from this end of globe . It’s another day for me to share with you people my lifestyle for the day . Today 14/03/2025, has been programmed as my supervision schedule for today, at my jobsite.Done by the by the regional pedagogic inspector for secondary schools.In my field of speciality .This inspection is always done every term to ensure we as teachers are doing our job perfectly.

Early in the morning at 5:30am I was already up from bed .I did laundry and ensured my house is very clean.After I went through my lesson prepared well I will teach one of the classes infront of my inspectors as he comes today . At 10:00am, I had to leave for school early since I was already prepared .My supervisor will be in school in 30minutes time .

When I arrived in school I went straight to my boss’s offices .To take my evaluation form that that I will use to filled some information when my supervisor arrives .The next thing I did was to take all classes log book am teaching.That I always filled after every lessons with my students . My colleague and I who is an English teacher did same because her inspector was to be coming the same time with mine .

We sat at the vice principal office as was instructed by my boss while waiting for them .In 1 hour time my inspector arrived and move straight to my boss office . Later, my boss called to meet my inspector.I welcomed him since is our first time of meeting this term . We went straight to the vice principal office and sat there . My inspector started by going through my logbook .

To see how far I have covered my scheme of work with students and if am following the normal protocols competence based approach of teaching.My inspector took more than an 1hour to go through my the log books.When he was done he signed . We had to enter into the discussion part .He started by appreciating me for doing my work well and following the normal pedagogic rule of teaching .

My supervisor congratulated me for doing my job well in my field of study .He gave some recommendations techniques to follow in order to always do more better in my teaching well . He ended by asking me challenges I faced during teaching and how do over come them. He gave me ways how to handle some challenges faced with students and advised me as well.

The next part was going to the classroom to teach my students while my supervisor evaluate my teaching skill .My supervisor and I went to form3 while I was teaching he sat down with the students evaluating me . I taught for 45minutes we left for form5 . In form I was shocked as my supervisor said . He will teach form5 with the lesson I have prepared .While I seat and observe .

I sat down with students and my supervisor taught for almost 1hour .I was really shock and surprised seeing my supervisor opting to teach .In my entire life of 8years in the teaching field I have never come acrossed with such a woundeful,duty conscious and devoted pedagogy inspector .In my field of study like the one today .I most say he is best of the best .

Most inspector come and remain in office only few of them enter in the classroom.After, evaluating your logbook and effective present they leave . After, my supervisor was done teaching students were very happy and had to clap for time and again .Indeed even at his post of office as inspector he is a very intelligent and smart tutor.

From here we went back to the staffroom . He asked me while teaching did I learn something new from him .Seriously I learned alot of things from him . He told me another way an inspector try make the teacher learn or add what she or she knows during teaching . The last thing he did was to evaluate my effective present at my work place . Which I had a good recommendation from teachers attendance sheets and from my boss.

At this juncture , that was the end of my supervision by my inspector. Time was already 3:30pm and he had to travelled back to Ngaoundere town his place of residence. I appreciated him new things I have learned in my teaching field and for the time spend here.To ensure I do my work properly.

After, I was called by my boss when left and I was happy my inspector gave an excellent recommendation about me. I was happy and this encouraged me to do more in my field . I left from my boss office trekked back home .I arrived home feeling very hungry and tired .The next thing is that heated food and ate .

My colleague came to my place and we discussed for sometime.She gave her own experience with the pedagogy inspector .We laughed and laughed because the man didnot spend up an hour as he was in a hurry. I shared my experience which was really positive because my supervisor did his job well before leaving .After, when my colleague left I called a day by going to bed .That how my day ended .It was a very good day for me as I learned a lot from my inspector.
