ANNUAL STEEMIT AWARDS 2021

Hi honorable members of jury, fellow steemit friends, ladies and gentlemen, accept greetings from @gerakam from Cameroon in the north west region, Bamenda to be precised. It's a privilege to take part in this year's annual awards to nominate steemians for the various shortlisted categories.

THE BEST AUTHOR CATEGORY.
I am pleased to nominate @saxopedia as the best AUTHOR of the year in Steem cameroon community. Most of his posts are geared towards encouraging steemians especially newcomers on how to be creative in writing that are original. He directs and gives wonderful comments on steemians posts which acts as a motivation.
Apart from efficiently and effectively carrying out his duty as one of the country's representative, @saxopedia organizes contests for his fellow steemians to keep the community lively and interesting such as:

• My Role model contests.
• Your Favourite musician.
  He encourages participants of such contests with wonderful comments and juicy awards and upvotes. Newcomers who partake in his contests have a lot of advantages just to better welcome them.
  Permit me mention just these few reasons amongst many so as to limit my words to be not more than 250.

FOR BEST CONTRIBUTOR TO THE COMMUNITY.
I wish to nominate @thegreens. He is also one of the country's representative. He is always on the community either updating the steemians, giving reports with regards the community growth, how to grow the community through activity based and quality in postings, following up steemians especially those who are new in steemit. Encouraging massive recruitments into steemit by launching recruitment pledge contest.

He launches many weekly contests that gives steemians opportunities to be creative and win awards. Some of these contests are:

• The green deeds contest. This contest focuses on building and sustaining a healthy environment.
• Creative writing contest. Here he encourages creativity in writing.
  For these reasons I nominate him as the best contributor to steem cameroon.

FOR THE BEST COMMUNITY.
I nominate Steem Cameroon as the best community in the year 2021 because of the following reasons;
It is just a year old and it's ACHIEVEMENTS are amazing. It has an encouraging reputation, steem power and membership.
The community's main aim is to grow it's members socially and economically. This's done by rewarding the best of posts quality, retaining exiting members by organizing follow up meetings and creating a WhatsApp group where training and education is carried out. This WhatsApp group is opened for all steemians to post their challenges as far as effectiv steeming is concerned. Here leaders like @saxopedia, @thegreens, @majerius and other experienced steemians do mentoring.
Steem Cameroon organizes a series of weekly contests to keep the community alive and interesting. It's having it's duration account where it's members area encouraged. To maintain it's growth, it constantly does it's power up and recieving delegation from it's members.
