The Diary game: Prefects inauguration day. (5/5/2025)

Hello, everyone, how has it been with you so far. Welcome to the month of May. Today, there was the day for prefects inauguration in my place of work. These prefects were elected by other students last term but due to the workload of the school, they were not sorn in so at the beginning of this term, a day was set aside for their swearing in. A normal school day begins as early as 6am, so o woke up very early and prepared for work. Before 7am, I was already at work. I decided not to take breakfast. By 7:30am, the bell was rung for morning devotion and the students gathered to worship and commit the day and the week into God's hands.

After the morning Assembly, it was announced that the swearing in of the prefects will take place by 12pm and all students and staff members dismissed to their various classes to teach.

In the afternoon, by 12pm, the bell was rung and the students gathered at the hall for the prefects swearing in ceremony. It started with an opening prayer by one of the staff members, then the SS3 and SS2 students marched in.

The swearing in ceremony ended with the dance club entertaining both staff abd students with dance, abd thereafter, the students dismissed to the refectory for their lunch. After their lunch, school dismissed for the day.

I got back to my lodge at about 4pm, and I had my bath and rested for a while before deciding to eat.
