STEEMIT ACCELERATOR HUB @STACH LAUNCH UYO 2018

It was a really great day. A day we had been anticipating for long now. It finally came after waiting for long.
The launch of STACH in Uyo. 20th January 2018.

After working on it for months now. It has been actualized. We now have a hub here in Uyo that will help in the decentralization of the offline. Thanks to @ejemai and @samstickkz who have been working hand in hand to set up the hub.
Unfortunately, I arrived late for the event due to engagements I had. That didn’t prevent me from knowing what had happened before I came as my friends gave me a rundown of the events occurrence.

THE LAUNCHING OF THE HUB

The hub was scheduled to be launched by 10am WAT. @Ejemai was there for the launching of the hub. He cut the ribbon and the @stach hub was officially open.
Steemians streamed into the hub joyously especially those in Uyo. They finally had a place to steem that would disable the offline by providing free power and internet.
The launching continued henceforth with talks by top steemians from Nigeria who came around to witness the launching firsthand.

Personalities including, but not restricted to @gbenga @destinysaid @eurogee @nairadaddy @akintunde @theheralds.

@Akintunde gave a highlight on the use of markdown styling guides which are very essential in making posts arranged, presentable and interesting to read as well.

@fisteganos from @onequality. Hammered on the importance of making quality posts on Steemit. He talked about not being lazy on steemit and going out on the platform seriously engaging and interacting. I strongly agree with him on this. Socializing on steemit is a surefire way of growing on the platform and this I have seen firsthand.

@nairadaddy from air-clinic talked about the necessity of members actively contributing to the progress of the clinic. The air clinic is sort of an online clinic hosted on the steemit platform. It has an official website now though.

@eurogee was really phenomenal. He talked for quite a while. He said a bit about his introductory post which was a hit. He used that opportunity to reiterate the importance of churning out good posts. He also talked about @euronation. He was really encouraging and lively.

@samstickkz later came on and talked about his specialty: ”CRYPTOCURRENCY”. He also talked about the steemit blockchain, it’s future potential and the need to invest in it.

Finally @ejemai spoke on the need to start taking Steemit serious so power comes back to we the youths. It was a really encouraging talk about financial freedom which is just one of the many benefits steemit provides.

The time came for the cutting of the @stach cake which was designed by the beautiful aunty @sussan. Yeah!! She was looking really lovely. Before the cake was cut, she was called upon to talk about how she made the cake.
The cake was then cut
and champagne was popped. It was really joyous. The next thing was taking of photos. It was a photo galore as everyone was scampering to take photos with each other.
