Bo tree

Bo tree or the Bodhi tree is a very sacred tree for Buddhist people. The reason for that is , Lord Buddha obtained enlightenment under a Bo tree. The actual tree which Buddha used is located in India. All the Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka contains a Bo tree to symbolize this and people respect this plant symbolizing a respect shown to Load Buddha.
