Messi scored his 33rd Laliga Hat trick

Barcelona captain Lionel Messi yesterday bag a Hat trick to help his side beat Real Betis 4-1 away from home. The victory now means that Barcelona are now 10-points ahead of second place Atletico Madrid who lost their game on Saturday. Barcelona are now looking certain of retaining the Spanish title with the victory.

Messi has now made his most appearances for Barcelona as joint-second place. His first goal of the Night was from a free kick in the eighteenth minute of the game.

His second was from an assist from Luis Suarez who score one of his own to before been withdrawn because of Injury. Messi scored his last of the night to make it three just five minute to full time. Betis were only able to pull one back with a goal from Loren Moron.
