Arsenal won against Chelsea but stay at Fifth

In the 23rd week of PL, Arsenal won against Chelsea to stayed at the fifth. They were looking to win this one after losing to Westham last time. Chelsea fought hard to win against Newcastle in their previous fixture.

At London Stadium, Chelsea dominated in possession but failed to create chances in front of the crowd of Arsenal fans. In the entire match, Chelsea only had 1 shot in the target. Chelsea was so poor today, and it had been their recent problems with their forwards not performing. Chelsea are planning to bring Higuain.

For Arsenal, Alexandre Lacazette scored in the 14th minute of the match to provide the lead. Laurent Koscielny doubled the lead in the 39th minute. Arsenal further had some good chances, but Kepa was brilliant to deny it. Arsenal won it 2-0.

With this win, Arsenal stays at fifth in the table with 44 points, 3 points behind with the fourth-placed Chelsea and in level with United.
