As previously announced, Maurizio Sarri leaves Chelsea FC and will become the new Juventus FC coach. A 60-year-old coach signed with the Italian champions a 3-year contract and replaced Massimiliano Allegri, who parted with the club after the end of the last season.

Sarri worked with "The Blues" for only 1 year, although in July last year he signed a 3-year contract with the English club. Now it has been dissolved, and Chelsea will receive about £ 5 million of compensation.

60-year-old Sarri did quite well during the Chelsea season. Under his leadership, the London team finished 3th in the Premier League and won the UEFA Europa League.

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia admitted that family matters influenced Sarri's decision.

The announcement of Sarri's departure may mean that Chelsea has already agreed with his successor. The English media have previously reported that Frank Lampard, present manager of Derby County, will return to London.
