Spring igloos
Hey, it's been a while!
The daffodils are in bloom right now and spring seems to see all around us.
It's a bit weird to think that only 10 days ago the story was completely different. Winter showed up and some friends and I decided to have a bit of fun with it.
Started with making a load of 'bricks'.
Shaping up.
We made sure not to forget about hydration.
And soon enough, it was finished.
It stood tall and proud for about 4 days ... and then disaster struck.
Do you know about igloo or which translates to home, and can be used as a house made up of several materials? Usually an igloo is associated with a spot in snow coming from Canada and Greenland. Not many people know much about how this structure is made, so here we will try to explain a bit and see some interesting facts related to the igloo. The meaning of igloos is shelter generally made by Inuit people from snow. The building is made up of snow bricks and can accommodate up to 20 people at a time.
Igloo is a temporary winter shelter built by Inuit hunters to accommodate their families while on a hunting trip. The speed of making an igloo can be only about 1 hour per igloo, that's if the maker is really fast. Nice job @costopher
Hey. Thanks for the info.
I know some general stuff about them and understand the principles behind their workings but this was just a little bit of fun; it had no purpose other than entertaining 3 bored guys for a morning, heh.
Cheers
