Basketball World Cup Disappointers — Wrap up…
As you already could look into the future with Betman, the greatest disappointers of the Basketball World Cup in China just finished their show. So, let’s see what have they done…
After two weeks and eight games, in their last game of this cup, they have fight a chance to disappoint again next year at the Olympic Games, by winning over Czech Republic, 90-81, making it their greatest success over such sports superpower, which has won basketball championships… OK, Betman just checked Czechs, they are a decent people that had better things to do than go bananas over some hard sports manipulation.
Betman, will you finally say what Serbia has done?
Right. They had 6 wins and 2 loses, but they really choose two most important games to lose — a careful choice worthy of former champions. On the bright side, that’s absolutely the best way to avoid a massive political manipulation by a con politician at some balcony… Let’s see now their wins. Aside that win over Czech Republic, they won only over the Third World countries… and Italy, which is on its way to the Third World. Betman warned about their dismal performance against Angola and Philippines, they were not much better in the game against the hurricane ravaged Puerto Rico, but the worst winning game they have showed against some North American tribe called N’ba. Only five points win with almost loosing 25 points advantage! Definite sign that basketball isn’t for them. They are bound to finish at some University and have productive, sensible jobs…
On the other hand, fate can play even worse games with those who do not listen to Betman. For example, this guy to the picture above… Some of you will recognize him. This is a basketball coach Svetislav Kari Pešić, the guy who snatched World title from Indianapolis in 2002. Had a great reputation… until he rammed into Betman. In the video below, you can see him staking his reputation at the MeridianBet, hoping that Serbia will win this title… Sic transit gloria mundi!
