World number 30 versus the world number 15. Isner has been playing well off late, winning Newport, before having a meltdown in Miami. Paire on the other hand, hasn't played much since Wimbledon. He did lose in the first round of Hamburg, though.

So we can see that Isner has been a reliable favorite and Paire a reliable outsider. Given the home advantage and the fact that Isner does well on the hard courts with his serve, i'm going with a win for him today. The odds are a little low at 1.30, but i think they're fair.

Unlucky. The stats looked good but Isner still lost and in pretty quick fashion too.
Absolute donkey. Don't know how he lost the first set tiebreak because he was the better player up to that point. Second set he self destructed.
