Juventus are now back to the summit of the Serie A league table after a late goal from Cristiano Ronaldo saw them get past Genoa in a 2-1 victory.
The match started pretty cagey as both team struggled to get a goal past the opposition's net. The first goal however came, 9 minutes before halftime after a goal from Juventus Captain Leonardo Bonucci.
Bonucci effort was cancelled in the 40th minute, four minutes after the first through a goal by Christian Kouame.
From there on the game dragged on and was getting physical as both team didn't want to crack. The second half saw both team have a player sent off with Francessco Cassata sent off in the 50th for a second yellow after pulling Dybala's shirt and Adrien Rabbiot sent off in the 86th after a rough tackle on Antonio Giua.
Juventus finally got the best of the match after applying more pressure in closing stage as a penalty was issued to Ronaldo after he was tripped inside the box. The Portuguese Star man wasted no time as dispatched the penalty into the back of the net seeing Juventus claim top spot with a 2-1 victory
