Kahn will replace Rummenigge in Bayern.
Former Bayern Munich captain Oliver Kahn was appointed to the club's management and in 2022 he will take over as director general.
The 50-year-old will return to the Munich club next year. At the meeting of the club on Thursday, it was decided that in 2022 Kahn would take the office of chairman and general manager.
He has 82 appearances in the German national team goalkeeper, in Bayern colors he played 632 matches in all competitions and won 8 championship titles in the years 1994-2008.
In 2022, he will replace Karl-Heinze Rummenigge in Bayern, whose contract expires on December 31, 2021.
