Davide Zappacosta joined AS Roma.
The 27-year-old Italian right-back has moved to AS Rome from Chelsea on a loan basis until January 31, 2020. The agreement between the clubs includes an option to extend Zappacosta's stay in Rome until June 30.
Before going on loan, the defender signed a new contract with Chelsea. It will be valid until June 30, 2022.
Davide Zappacosta came to Chelsea 2 years ago. Torino earned € 25 million on its sale. He played 52 games in Italy's "The Blues" jersey. In the previous season he did not appear at all on the Premier League pitches, in which he recorded four appearances. Maurizio Sarri more often bet on him in the Europa League, where Zappacosta played 10 matches. Londoners triumphed in this competition.
In Rome, the defender, who has 85 appearances in Serie A, will play in a number 2 jersey on his back.
